Picture book: personal project
I wrote the story as a framework for experimenting with imagery, working across graphite, coloured pencil, linocut and ink. The challenge was to let each image have its own character while maintaining a consistent visual world throughout the 30-page book.
The illustrations combine graphite, coloured pencil, linocut and ink, with each technique bringing its own character to the story.
Each illustration was created at A2 size (420 × 594 mm), resulting in 30 large-format original drawings.
A self-initiated picture book exploring how different visual techniques and styles can coexist within the same story.
